- NEP Implementation Cell : In order to implement and to harness benefits of NEP-2020, a dedicated Cell has been constituted which will constantly monitor the progress of the implementation of NEP-2020. Following initiatives have already been taken by the University:
- Designing the syllabus as per NEP-2020 Guidelines
- Starting multiple exit option UG/PG Courses
- Registered with Academic Bank of Credit
- Compulsory introduction of internship
- CUH got NCTE approval for M.P.Ed. Course, it started w.e.f 2021-22
- Three integrated courses B.Sc.-M.Sc. Physics, B.Sc.-M.Sc. Chemistry and B.Sc.-M.Sc. Mathematics started in 2021-22 with multiple entry and exit and also with option of 4 year graduation programme
- Started 3 M.Tech courses w.e.f 2021-22
- Establishment of Training and Placement Center in Gurugram
- More than 30 students got on campus placement in various organizations.
- Constitution of Research Promotion Board : In order to promote research and innovation, the Board is constituted. This Board will collectively advise and guide the budding faculty as well as the students for various research and innovation activities.
- Constitution of University Consultancy Cell : The University aspires to become one the leading consultancy Centre in the NCR Region in Civil Engineering and other allied areas. Therefore, a Consultancy Cell has been constituted which has started getting the consultancy from government/private firms.
- Constitution of Centre for Innovation and Incubation : The future of the University lies the way the University going to bring new innovations and incubating them for commercialization. Therefore, the University has constituted a Centre which will bring new innovations and promote start-up from the faculty as well as the students.
- Constitution of Entrepreneurship Cell : The university started the cell to promote culture of Entrepreneurship among students.
- CAS Promotions of Teachers The CAS promotions of teacher were due and in last six months more than 30 teachers have been promoted from one level to another and the remaining cases of CAS promotion will be done in the next six months. The timely promotion of the teachers is a motivating factor for not only teachers themselves but also reflection goes to students as well.
- Capacity Building ProgrammesCentral Instrumentation Centre opened for research work, CUH, August 27, 2021 For carrying out benchmark research, the Instrumentation Centre is very essential capacity building initiative of the University. This Centre will be utilized commonly for all the departments of the University in advanced research and innovation.
- Faster development of InfrastructureThe University has been actively monitoring the ongoing projects and striving to complete them within the time frame and also submitted various other infrastructure requirements to Higher Education Funding Agency under prospective Five-Year Plan
- Appointment of Teaching and Non-Teaching StaffThe requirement of human resource is an essential element and in this direction the University has advertised all the vacant posts of teachers as well as non-teaching staff and the recruitment process is in progress.
