Dr. Amit Kumar

Dr. Amit Kumar presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh. Dr. Amit has been associated with CT University, Ludhiana and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has over 14 years of academic and 2 years of industry experience. Honours Graduate in Economics also holds a Bachelor's degree in Law. He did his Master's degree in Tourism Management and Doctorate in Tourism and Hotel Management from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Later on, he did MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMI Switzerland. He is a well-structured academic professional and researcher demonstrating proven success in fostering student learning outcomes through creative and innovative curriculum delivery methods. He Adepts at driving thought-provoking class debates to promote student engagement and learning. He has also participated in and presented research papers in various International and National Seminars/ Conferences/ Workshops. He has guided 02 M.Phil scholars and 07 Ph.D scholars. He has published two Edited Books, one Indian Patent and one German Patent along with 60 research publications in International and National reputed journals and books. He is also a member of the Editorial Board and Reviewer Board for various prestigious International Journals such as Tourism Management Perspectives by Elsevier. He has been awarded as Best Young Researcher by GISR Foundation, Best Assistant Professor (Tourism Management) by Subharti University Meerut and Best Assistant Professor (Tourism and Hotel Management) in Mahendragarh region by Aahar Ways, New Delhi.
